Singapore’s OCBC Bank uses Voice Recognition Technology for SME customers
Singapore’s OCBC Bank to make banking easier for its business customers, has integrated its business mobile banking app with Apple’s Siri. The SME customers can use iPhones running on Apple’s iOS 11 mobile operating system for funds transfers and account balance enquiries.
The bank issued a media release that stated, over 120,000 Singapore-registered users of OCBC Bank’s internet business banking portal, Velocity@ocbc, stand to benefit. Validation will be done via fingerprint authentication (“OCBC One TouchTM”) and One Time Passwords (OTP) sent via SMS.
